Growing
Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would be where I am today. I am getting healthier all of the time. I'm learning how to set boundaries, and I'm enjoying blogging and writing my books. The most difficult part is having patience with myself. I always want things done yesterday. I want everything to be taken care of a month ago, and realizing that it will take a very long time for things to fall into place the way I want them to is a bummer. I have so much love in my life with my family. I am cherished by them, and I cherish them. I'm also learning that it's okay to cut out toxic people from my life. I know that I can set those limits and it's not wrong. My world is a joyful place to be. I love my life. I have the most incredible husband that shows me so much support and love. How could I not be happy?

Um...Yeah...It's Kinda Like That

I write, read, and I have to have my music. Right now I am listening to Alanis Morissette. She is so raw. I love her vocals and passion. Right now I am in a cleansing mood. I tend to bottle everything up inside, and it's not until I write that I have my cathartic cleansing experience. I don't like phones. I prefer email, Facebook, journaling, and Blogging. My hubby and son are the only ones I like talking to. No offense to anyone reading this. It's just who I am.
I was the kid in school that liked homework. I loved English, Reading, and Writing. I took an extra class that was devoted to writing. When it came to Science and Math...yeah...not so great there.
My favorite thing is to be able to sit at my lappy, and just write. When I catch that hook, wow...complete Zen moments! Amazing!!!
I've noticed lately, that with all of the stress we've been going through, my Zen moments are fewer. Somehow I have to get that me sitting and freaking out isn't going to change anything. I just have to let myself get lost in writing. That's how I deal, and it's okay.
Alanis says it best:
You live you learn
You love you learn
You cry you learn
You lose you learn
You bleed you learn
You scream you learn
You grieve you learn
You choke you learn
You laugh you learn
You choose you learn
You pray you learn
You ask you learn
You live you learn

Complete Randomness
I am back in the blogging world. Oh, I have blogged before! It's interesting and so amazing how we can put our thoughts out for the world to read. As I sit in my small living room with my family, listening to Evanescence, and eating chocolate, you are somewhere else in the world reading my thoughts. Pretty cool, huh?

I am a die-hard metal girl, although, like everyone else, I do have my guilty pleasures like Taylor Swift. I am hanging my head in shame...well at least it isn't Barry Manilow!

Writing is my passion. I am currently working on my first novel. Writing is a form of therapy for the writer. At least it is for me. I have noticed that it is almost as if I am standing there and saying, "Okay, here is my soul. Am I good enough for you?" Hopefully the answer will be, "Yes. You are awesome!" but you never know, right?

I love old movies! How can anyone not love Bette Davis? She completely rocked the film industry! Audrey Hepburn? Katherine Hepburn? Hello? Such awesomeness should not be allowed!

Anywho...that is just a quick snapshot of me. There will be much venting, randomness, and chocolate on this blog. Enjoy, share, and vent with me!
